St Swithun's Church Hall

As part of our mission to the local community, we welcome a wide range of users to the Hall, including dancing classes for all ages, a table tennis club, keep fit classes, language classes, dog training classes, an amateur radio group, bridge events, martial arts, etc.

The Hall is also available for private children's parties, although we regret we cannot accept bookings for teenage parties.

Currently, no weekend evening bookings are taken extending after 9.00pm.

The Hall has been refurbished to a high standard and comprises a kitchen with large cooker, fridge freezer and hot water urn. A newly constructed lobby area provides easy wheelchair access and the toilet block has disabled facilities.  Completing the refurbishment was the installation of new radiators, with safety covers, creating a warm and cosy environment on the coldest day. The Small Hall off the Main Hall can also be hired separately.

Parking, including two disabled bays, is available without charge outside the Hall or the Church in Grovelands Road and in Downlands Road.
